• At least 75 homes will be expropriated and bulldozed in North Delta alone to clear the route for the South Fraser Perimeter Road on the shores of the Fraser River.
• A tunnel beginning North of Elevator Road and exiting at Nordel Way could be built without the loss of any homes.
• The Fraser River is already an endangered river.  A tunnel would move traffic and construction away from the shores of the Fraser River.
• Noise and pollution are contained and controlled by the construction of a tunnel. 
• An independent engineer has provided an assessment of Gateway's plans and tunnel feasibility
